The bride and groom will be staying at the Holiday Inn in La Mirada on Saturday, Feb 15th, as well as Feb. 16th. We would love to be surrounded by our family and friends! Hope to see you there!

Garba: The brighter your outfit, the better! Garba outfits are vibrant, beautiful, and most importantly VERY COMFORTABLE. We encourage Indian attire! MEN: Kurta WOMEN: Chaniya Choli Semi-formal attire that you can comfortably dance/jump around in is also appropriate. Wedding Ceremony: MEN: Kurta WOMEN: If you have never had the opportunity to wear a saree, this is your chance. Alternative to a saree: salwar kameez. Formal Western attire is also appropriate. Reception: Indian or Western Formal MEN: Jodhpuri Suit or Western Suit WOMEN: Saree, Anarkali Suit, Lehengha, Western Cocktail Dress

What is Garba?

Garba is a traditional Indian dance that originated in the state of Gujarat (where both our families are from). The dance honors the Goddess Durga, who symbolizes power and purity. Garba is essentially a MASSIVE INDIAN DANCE PARTY.
