Mai-Thi and David became friends while in the same cohort for their master's program at CSU Long Beach back in 2015! The rest is history, y'all... David quickly became a close friend, along with his partner, Tessie Nguyen. You'll hear us often refer to David and Tessie, as the fellow “Minturnians.” We all lived together back at Minturn as backyard neighbors, which Arthur joined back in 2019, and later, we became roommates. And well now, we are basically family 😌. David and Tessie have such a beautiful partnership and they continue to show us just how supportive, fun, and loving marriage can be :)! What are some memories we share together? Living through the pandemic together, binging trash TV on Netflix, cooking family meals, ALF (Arthur Lien Fitness), supporting David's FIFA nights and Tessie's baking, grocery shopping and Home Goods trips, watching Sofia (their daughter nicknamed jopa) grow up, hanging out with each other's families, and other big events to random mundane life moments that we simply enjoy sharing with Tessie, David, and Sofia. We are so excited for them to marry us!
