Friday night we will be offering a Welcome Dinner for all guests who want to start the party early! Following our rehearsal dinner, the wedding party will join you for some comfort food and adult beverages. Open bar Friday night will include beer and wine!
**PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY** Our venue offers enough space to have guests stay on site. This will be an out of pocket cost for each guest/couple. Several of the room accommodations are cabin-style, which means that it is possible that you will be sharing a space with others. (Don’t worry, we will not put you with a stranger). We will put our best foot forward to make sure that you room with someone you are familiar with, or even related to, in order for you to be the most comfortable. Each cabin-style space will have two separate bathroom spaces with toilets, showers, and sinks. There WILL be options for single rooms - those who occupy these rooms are up to the discretion of the couple, as a lot of factors determine this decision. We are currently working on these room assignments and will be reaching out to guests in a timely manner. All guests are welcome to stay both Friday and Saturday night! If you are interested in something more private and intimate, there are several hotel and Air BnB options in nearby Lake George. (But book ASAP because they will fill up!)
When it comes time to RSVP for our special day, there will be an option to let us know what night(s) you will be staying. Leave it to us to inform our venue of your lodging accommodations! Once you arrive to the venue, they will direct you to the space we chose for you!
Each lodging accommodation will have towels, linens, and pillows, but feel free to bring your own or extras! (Plan accordingly for weather). Our venue does not provide toiletries, so be sure to pack what ever you need for your hygiene/make-up routine. You are also encouraged to pack food, snacks, and beverages of your choosing for all your cravings! Drinks will come in handy at the bonfire following the reception. Bringing your own alcohol is permitted at Jimbo's, as long as you keep it in your room and not near our reception or ceremony space. Rooms that are available on site do not have televisions or refrigerators like typical hotel rooms. We encourage you to bring a speaker, deck of cards, kayaks, a book; anything you need to keep you busy! ~Think as if you are going on a camping trip~
Our venue will be offering a small assortment of pastries and fruit Saturday morning. There is also a Stewart’s and a local diner just a short drive away; though we do encourage you to pack any food/drink of your choosing for your cabin. Our venue also offers a variety of sports and activities to take part in on site; including kayaking, basketball, tennis, and more! In addition to onsite activities, the beautiful village of Lake George is just a short drive away!
We have chosen a family-style dinner for our guests. Why choose chicken, steak, or salmon, when you can have all 3? This family-style option offers each guest a delicious taste of all Jimbo’s has to offer. It’s also a great conversation starter. “Pass the potatoes, please!” Open bar will be available during cocktail hour and through the entirety of the reception.
Our wedding venue is in the heart of the Adirondacks. Cocktail attire is appropriate, black-tie is not necessary. Just one rule: NO WHITE!
Saturday night, following the reception, we are allotted 2 additional hours to host a bonfire on the property’s beach. This is where those adult beverages will come in handy. It is BYOB to the beach!
On Sunday morning, we will be offering a breakfast buffet for all guests who spent their evening at the venue. Start and end times are to be determined.
Details can and WILL change daily. Check back in to our FAQ page as the date gets closer for any additional information.
