Kelsey Maguire
Maid of Honor
Kelsey is Sarah’s little sister, best friend, and maid of honor. Also referred to as “Little Siest” or “Dr. Peanut,” Kelsey has been by Sarah's side across four states, family ski trips, college visits, and a bizarre low-budget cruise to the Bahamas. She is passionate about fitness, ice cream, and spending time at the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Kelsey works as a Physical Therapist in Lilitz, PA, where she lives with her fiancé, James, and the (sometimes) good boy, Cody, their golden retriever.
Molly Dasso
Bridesmaid
Molly was “randomly” paired with Sarah and Emma as their third roommate freshman year of college (but really, what were the odds three engineers from Catholic all-girls high schools were “randomly” placed in the same room?). Sarah and Emma could not have been more lucky, though! They connected with Molly right away. Sarah and Molly joined the same sorority and lived together every year of college. They have stayed close since graduating through trips across the country and FaceTime dates to discuss The Bachelor. Molly has a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and works at Google in Chicago, IL.
Jean Ye
Bridesmaid
Jean and Sarah met through their Chemical Engineering classes at Cornell, where they became homework buddies, partners for Senior Design, and friends. In the ChemE lounge in the basement of Olin Hall, they shared tears over impossible problem sets and celebrated their first job offers, occasionally taking breaks to pick up sushi from Plum Tree or shop a Kate Spade Surprise Sale online. Jean works as a consultant in New York, NY and stays close with Sarah by sending her regular memes and pictures of corgis.
Kati Peditto
Bridesmaid
Kati and Sarah met though Eric (Kati’s husband and Tom’s best man) and Tom’s friendship while the four of them were living in central New York. They quickly developed their own friendship as the squad explored wineries across the Finger Lakes and fine dining at FLX Table and Char Burrito Bar. Kati has a PhD in in Human Behavior and Design and works as a design psychologist and researcher in Colorado, where she lives with her husband, Eric, their son, Finley, and three dogs. Sarah and Tom look for any excuse to visit Kati and Eric in the mountains for ski trips, hiking, and Fantasy Football drafts.
Emma Luengo
Bridesmaid
Emma and Sarah attended high school and college together, where they shared crepes as co-presidents of the French Club and wine after engineering prelims. Emma and Sarah lived together freshman and junior year at Cornell, and stayed in touch as Emma pursued her master's degree at Stanford. Emma lives in Boston with her fiancé, Fabien, and works at Amazon, ensuring the warehouse robots deliver Sarah's gardening supplies on time.
Siobhan McKenna
Bridesmaid
Siobhan and Sarah met in high school on the Cross Country team. Together they have shared adventures in France, Greece, and the many cities across the country to which school and work have taken them. Siobhan is a travel nurse and is currently stationed in Georgia, where she lives with her boyfriend, Corbin. She is also talented writer and editor at Yellow Arrow Publishing, and enjoys hiking and traveling.
Rachel Evanowski
Bridesmaid / Sister of the Groom
Rachel is Tom's older sister and fellow Cornell graduate. GO BIG RED. Rachel introduced Tom to his best man, Eric May, for a place to live when Tom was facing homelessness for his Junior and Senior years of college. Rachel lives in central NY and works in a dairy science lab at Cornell University. She raises future guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and can frequently be found with the bestest doggos.
Sarah Evanowski
Bridesmaid / Sister of the Groom
Sarah is Tom's younger sister. Sarah is an ESL teacher and Head of the ESL program at her school in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has lived since graduating from the University of Georgia #RollTide. Sarah is best friends with NFL Running Back, Nick Chubb, but refuses to use that to the advantage of Tom or Sarah Maguire's fantasy football teams. Sarah is also passionate about yoga and recently became a yoga instructor.
Eric May
Best Man
Husband to Bridesmaid, Dr. Kati Peditto, father to Finley, distinguished swammer, and thriving NARP. Eric studied Viticulture and Enology at Cornell University, where he and Tom met and lived together for two years. After graduating Cornell, Eric began working in the wine and spirits industry in Central NY, just a $1.75 toll away from where Tom lived in Syracuse. It was during these years that Tom and Eric grew close over their shared love for wine and beer.
Brendan Cleary
Groomsman
Father of Rowan, Husband to Cherokee, sender of hydration, former ruler of Duloc, 2x Sacko. Brendan studied Engineering at Cornell university and now uses his degree to personally inspect, maintain, and test all of the safest planes in the sky. Brendan and Tom met during their freshman year at Cornell, when Tom's team beat Brendan's in the most fairly-officiated dodgeball game of all time. For the remainder of their years at Cornell Brendan and Tom both worked as officials and supervisors for Intramural Sports. Brendan moved in with Tom for their Junior and (kind-of) Senior years at Cornell.
Mitchell Johnson
Groomsman
Father of Mako, Leader of Team SMOL, researcher of the sea. Mitchell and Tom met during a thrilling game of Kings after one of us drew an 8 - it was quite the date. After graduating from Cornell University, Mitchell decided to live on a boat, in Alaska, voluntarily. It was basically real-life "Deadliest Catch". Rumor has it he could see Russia from his front yard. Mitchell is now pursuing an M.S. in Ecology from San Diego State University.
Matt McCoy
Groomsman
Certified Real McCoy. Tom and McCoy met at Cornell, where they lived together for two years. McCoy was on the Cornell Swimming and Diving Team at Cornell, but now spends some of his time practicing Olympic Weightlifting. With the rest of his time, McCoy is working on renovating a Tudor-style house in Bon Air, Virginia, with his dog Leonidas (we know who does the real heavy-lifting here).
Mike Reynolds
Groomsman
Swammer, Coach, and Teacher. Mike and Tom met at Cornell University, where they lived together for their Senior year. Mike was on the Swim Team at Cornell. After graduating, Mike went on to use his swimming experience to jump-start his career as a swim coach. Mike is now beginning his career as a History Teacher. He lives in Atlanta with is wife Erin.
Tommy Maguire
Officiant / Groomsman / Brother of the Bride
Tommy is Sarah’s younger brother. He got to know Tom while he was attending Syracuse University and Sarah and Tom were living in Syracuse. The three of them had an annual “Apple Party” tradition of apple picking at Beak & Skiff, and then making homemade apple pie and mulled cider. They also enjoyed Syracuse Basketball games together and competitive bike rides at the MS City to Shore. Tommy works as a financial consultant in West Chester, PA, and enjoys attending concerts with his girlfriend, Kaitlin, in Philadelphia.
Jack Maguire
Groomsman / Bud Boy / Brother of the Bride
Shredder of gnar (and tendons), Jack is Sarah’s youngest brother. He has gotten to know Tom over happy hour cornhole games down the shore, ski trips, bike rides and crabbing excursions. Jack is studying graphic design at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he plays on the Rugby team and manages the team’s social media. Jack enjoys attending music festivals and making art, including a charcoal drawing that Tom and Sarah have displayed in their house.
