I first met Uriel during my sophomore year of high school at a football game. We chatted occasionally, but I thought he was unpredictable because one day he'd be super nice, and the next, I'd get the coldest glare. It turned out I was actually talking to Ulices, his twin, all along! When I tried to talk to the real Uriel, I was a bit intimidated, but on their birthday, I mustered the courage to give them both cupcakes I made. Uriel's eyes lit up at the chocolate ones, and he invited me to play games with him on his 3DS. After that, we started playing together often and got closer. We bonded over games, anime, and all things nerdy. We developed feelings for each other, but I kept turning him down until my senior year. Once we got together, everything felt perfect. We've grown together, trying new things, going on trips, and supporting each other's dreams. We geek out while binge-watching anime, attending cons, and cosplaying. I love that I can be myself around him, and I adore his dorky, kind, thoughtful, and intelligent nature. I feel blessed that he came into my life. Conocí a Uriel por primera vez durante mi segundo año de secundaria en un partido de fútbol. Charlábamos de vez en cuando, pero pensé que era impredecible porque un día sería súper amable y al siguiente recibiría la mirada más fría. ¡Resultó que en realidad estaba hablando con Ulices, su gemelo, todo el tiempo! Cuando traté de hablar con el verdadero Uriel, me sentí un poco intimidado, pero en su cumpleaños, reuní el coraje para regalarles los dos pastelitos que hice. Los ojos de Uriel se iluminaron ante los de chocolate y me invitó a jugar con él en su 3DS. Después de eso, empezamos a tocar juntos a menudo y nos hicimos más cercanos. Nos unimos por los juegos, el anime y todo lo relacionado con los nerds. Desarrollamos sentimientos el uno por el otro, pero seguí rechazándolo hasta mi último año. Una vez que nos reunimos, todo se sintió perfecto. Hemos crecido juntos, probando cosas nuevas, haciendo viajes y apoyándonos mutuamente en los sueños. Nos divertimos viendo anime, asistiendo a convenciones y haciendo cosplay. Me encanta poder ser yo mismo con él y adoro su naturaleza tonta, amable, reflexiva e inteligente. Me siento bendecida de que haya llegado a mi vida.
