Where is Marfa, TX, and how do we get there?! If you're in Texas, you can drive: • Midland: 3 hours • El Paso: 3 hours • Austin: 6.5 hours • Dallas: 7.5 hours • Houston: 8.5 hours For out-of-state guests: • The closest airports to Marfa are Midland (MAF) and El Paso (ELP), both about a three-hour drive. Car rentals are available at both locations, and we've found Midland tends to be a bit more affordable for flights. • If driving from El Paso, keep in mind there's a one-hour time change from MST to CST. • You can also fly into Austin (AUS) or Dallas (DFW/DAL), enjoy some shopping and barbecue, then road trip out to Marfa from there, (See "THINGS TO DO"). • We’re happy to help coordinate carpools for guests flying in. Staying in Marfa There are several hotel and Airbnb options, but since Marfa is remote, we highly recommend staying within the city limits for convenience.
