What activities are available?

Answer

On-site free activities include basketball, campfires, disc golf, family nature classes, guided hikes, horseshoes, indoor pool with climbing wall and slide, volleyball, library, miniature golf course, roller skating, summer tubing hill, and tennis courts. YMCA fee-based activities include biking, archery, canoeing, climbing wall, craft shop, day camp, fishing, horseback riding, and zip line. To sign up for any of these activities, please contact Programs at 970-887-2152 x4135. To sign up for horseback riding, please contact Sombrero Stables at 970-887-1999.

Driving is the easiest way to get around. We also suggest bringing your bike.

Things to Know About the Ranch

Answer

Speed Limit: Most of the property is around 20mph and parking lots are 5mph. Quiet Hours: Snow Mountain Ranch has quiet hours from 10pm-7am. Smoking/Drinking Policy: Tobacco use is only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed only in the privacy of your room, cabin or group meeting space.
