How long will it take to get from the church to the reception venue?
Answer
The drive from the church to the reception venue is approximately 17 minutes long. Simply exit the church and head east on Rush Ave. Turn right onto 247th street west. Continue on 247th street west for 1.0 mile. Turn left on 53rd street north and continue for 8.9 miles. Turn left onto north Maize Rd. What should we do in between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony will conclude by 3 p.m. and the reception will begin at 5 p.m. With the 17-minute drive, this leaves a little over an hour and half of free time. Feel free to explore the towns of Andale, Colwich, and Maize or go home and let the dogs out. Some popular stops are the Andale or Colwich City Park, Little Bear Sports Bar (Andale), The Keg (Colwich), New Market Square (21st & Maize-Wichita), and the Maize Splash Pad.
