Flight
If you leave out of Boston, the best flight will be through COPA Airlines. This flight often offers a quick 1-hour layover in Panamá. You can also fly directly from Boston to Bogotá (6 hours) and then take a connecting flight to Medellín through Avianca (that's the only airline that has a direct flight to Bogotá). If you leave out of New York, you'll have a lot more options, including a direct flight to Medellín through Avianca (5.5 hours). Another option through NYC includes flying through Delta with a 1.5-hour layover in Bogotá. Once in Medellín, the most convenient way to get to the hotel/Airbnb/Vrbo is by taking a taxi/Uber. Please be aware that taxis only accept cash, so make sure to bring $$ with you and exchange it at the airport. Uber is also very convenient and safe and your app will work automatically and you can also pay with card.
