Officiant
Ben and Madison met three years ago at Power Home Remodeling and have been friends, mentors, and an overall powerhouse in the company; however, Mary Elizabeth and Mackenzie (Ben's wife) get to go to Power events regularly as well. The two couples became friends and spend a good amount of free time together. Ben has become close to both Madison and Mary Elizabeth and the two could not have thought of a better friend to officiate the wedding. He is truly caring, loving, and just as charismatic as you would expect considering he is Madison's best friend. If you know Madison then it takes a great person and large personality to become close to her and we cannot imagine life without Benjamin Filer.
Maid of Honor
Courtney and Mary Elizabeth met at East Carolina University while studying Hospitality Leadership. Courtney's concentration was Events while Mary Elizabeth's was Food and Beverage and Lodging so needless to say Courtney keeps Mary Elizabeth organized and ahead of schedule majority of the time. These two have spent so many major life events together and will continue to do so throughout the years to come.
Maid of Honor (Right)
Rylie has been Madison’s right hand man since those awkward middle school days. She is the friend that’s always down to go fishing or spend a day at the lake (even if that results in a broken leg). As Madison’s voice of reason, she might be the only reason Madison isn’t in jail. Madison brings out her spontaneous side and Rylie brings out Madison’s empathetic side. They’ve had 15 years of balancing each other out and will undoubtedly have countless more adventures to come.
Maid of Honor (Left)
Rachel has been Madison’s left hand man since those awkward middle school days. She is the friend that is always down for cheer at ANY sporting event (even if she has to stop Madison from fighting other fans). As Madison’s slightly less reasonable voice, Rachel is the reason Madison made it through college alive. Madison brings out Rachel’s fearless side and Rachel brings out Madison’s “get’er done” side. With 15 years of friendship down, there is no doubt they will have many more years of getting in trouble together ahead of them.
Bridesmaid
Miranda and Mary Elizabeth met while at East Carolina University in Sigma Alpha Omega. The sorority brought them closer together as sisters, but also into a life long friendship. Miranda and Mary Elizabeth would cross paths due to mutual friends and the friendship just grew and continued even after graduation. From FaceTime Wine Nights to girls trips Miranda and Mary Elizabeth always pick up where they left off and have the best time together.
Bridesmaid
Kristie and Mary Elizabeth became friends while attending East Carolina University and actually met through Miranda. The mutual friend group made college enjoyable and Kristie and Mary Elizabeth have continued to keep up with each other even after graduation. Kristie is one of the most caring and loving people and it brings out the best in everyone.
Bridesmaid
Katy is one of Mary Elizabeth's life long friends seeing as she is her cousin. Katy and Mary Elizabeth would spend time together as children in the red house in Granny and Grandaddy's backyard in the summers. Katy and her family eventually moved to California so seeing each other was not as common and mainly for holidays and funerals and weddings. In adulthood Katy and Mary Elizabeth have become so much closer and have spent time catching up and having wine nights while talking family secrets.
Bridesmaid
Mackenzie and Mary Elizabeth met three years ago when Madison started working with Mackenzie's husband. After many sports bar and Mario cart nights Mackenzie and Mary Elizabeth became close and now spend time together on trips to Mexico and Miami. Mackenzie has brought such a support and light to Mary Elizabeth since moving to Dallas- Fort Worth. Mackenzie is one of the brightest and genuine people in Mary Elizabeth's life and truly is a great friend.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Madison have a typical sister relationship from wreaking havoc together and towards each other as children to now just wreaking havoc together. With weekly video game nights they have grown even closer since Madison’s move back to Texas. Madison is thankful for the bond she has with her sister and is glad to have her by her side on her wedding day and all future days to come.
Bridesmaid
Tessa is a sister not a cousin to Madison and they spent summers together at Mimi and Dah's while getting in to trouble with silver spoons in the sandbox and messing with the other cousins. Although Tessa is now in Australia the relationship is still just as strong today and when they get the chance to visit they laugh and go to local bars and have a great time with the family. Madison is so excited that Tessa is able to travel trans-Atlantic to be there for her big day.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Lindsay have been great friends since 9th grade. Even with moves across the country and across the sea, their friendship always picks up right where it left off. From skiing in Colorado, to exploring the world, the two have a bond that cannot be broken by distance. That bond holds true as Lindsay is leaving rainy cold Scotland to be there for Madison’s big day (and Madison couldn’t be happier to have her back state side).
