Jared and Madison met at The Flood House (TFH), may she rest in peace. Madison had recently began to frequent The Flood House. Halee and Nathanael Whisman, had started to date and Jared was his best friend. Madison had seen Jared around a couple times, but was about to leave for Amarillo and Pine Cove. Madison had started to really think about spending quality time with herself. She started to pray that God would take away guys in her life. Well, he sure does have a funny sense of humor. Madison had seen Jared at TFH a couple times and thought he was cute. Like any other girl would do, she texted the girls in the room, Abby, Chloe, and Halee. To which she was gently rebuked to what Madison had started to pray. Madison continued to pray and seek God continuously. Madison was hanging out with her friend Karrigan, at the pond during finals., she had brought an extra fishing pole. She made a cast and took a picture, posted it on Instagram story alongside a cute gif. Jared saw my story, and it hooked him. LITERALLY. Jared messaged Madison on Instagram, and asked her if she was giving lessons. To which she had to dish sarcasm out, "aren't you on the fishing team?" They messaged back and forth for a couple days. Jared then gave her, his number. The first time they hung out, they went fishing, obliviously. They hung out every night and watch Boy Meet's World. Jared always says "my grades slipped because we stared to hang out." Jared and Madison went on their first date on May 4, 2018. Jared remembers it because it's Star Wars Day. They went to Texas Road House and watched The Greatest Showman. The rest you can say is history. They spent lots of time cooking, binge watching many TV shows, eating Mexican food, and drinking margarita's. Jared proposed on June 6, 2020. He cooked steak dinner and we went to Caddo Lake while having a picnic. Madison and Jared are so excited to share this next season with those who are close to us.
