Maddie and Jack met through mutual friends on a stormy COVID-era New England night while living in Boston. Maddie immediately caught Jack's eye, and at a cozy South End restaurant known as Burro Bar, he strategically placed himself right next to her at a table full of friends. Starting the moment that he sat down, Jack flirted with Maddie non-stop, barely talking to anyone else the entire night. As his liquid confidence grew, so did his boldness, and his intentions were about as subtle as the pouring rain outside. Though they started as friends, Maddie and Jack quickly bonded over a shared love of skiing, dogs, family, and so much more, and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly. After a “not-a-date” day trip to Cannon filled with laughter and connection, it was obvious their future together was inevitable. Then came their first official “real date” night skiing at Wachusett, and once Jack won Cove over, the rest is history. After living in the South End together for a few years, Maddie, Cove, and Jack moved to Newburyport, where they boat, fish, and enjoy the outdoors together.
