The love story of Madison and Bobby dates back to 2021 but the foundation of their fateful connection has been building through their mutual connections for decades. Madison and Bobby both grew up in the Catholic school system where they would form bonds with many friends that are joining them in Maui for their dream wedding. Madison attended Mt. Carmel for grade school and Seton Catholic for high school, while Bobby attended St. Thomas the Apostle and went to Notre Dame Prep for high school. They would then go on to graduate from rival universities, Madison went to ASU and Bobby went to the University of Arizona. Throughout these formative years they would develop many mutual friends and connections but somehow their paths would never cross. Love was in the air on a brisk January evening back in 2021. Bobby was out in Old Town Scottsdale for his friend Alex Quenzler’s 30th birthday party. After a long day of golf and bar hoping around town, the boys invited their ladies out to join them at the infamous El Hefe nightclub. Madison would be one of the girls coming to join them as she was friends with many of the girlfriends of Bobby’s friends. After shuffling into the bar and getting settled at the table Bobby and Madison somehow ended up sitting next to one another. Madison immediately caught Bobby’s eye and he was intrigued at the beautiful girl seated beside him. After a few pick up lines and quality banter, Madison noticed a guy on the dance floor doing the splits. She commented on his impressive flexibility and Bobby saw this as his opportunity to take his shot. Bobby said that it wasn’t that impressive and that he could put his foot over his head. Madison told him that there was no way he could do that so Bobby made a bet with Madison: If he could put his foot over his head then he would be rewarded with a kiss. Bobby somehow proceeded to put his foot over his head and Madison was in shock (Bobby was wearing jeans!). After multiple chants from friends at the table for her to pay up on her end of the bet, Bobby and Madison would have their first kiss. Bobby was successful in getting her phone number later that night and they would go on to talk on the phone the following days. Bobby took Madison on their first date January 14th, 2021 and the rest is history.
