Arman met Ben on their first day of college where they were assigned as suitemates. From there, they became great friends and spent the past few years living within walking distance of each other on the Upper East Side, until Arman and his wife Chelsea recently left for Jersey City. While they say it isn't far, Jersey City is basically another country to us Manhattan residents (hopefully they come back soon!). Arman and Ben both work in commercial real estate in NYC and talk often through their work.

Mackenzie Leblanc

Maid of Honor

No one would guess that Madison and Mackenzie are related. Complete opposites in most aspects of their lives, Mackenzie and Madison grew up with a mere two years of age between them. They shared everything: a bedroom, clothing, cars, makeup, friends — you name it. Mackenzie's creativity, humor, affection, tenacity, and sporadic nature have forever been a constant in Madison's life, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Time flies and somehow Mackenzie is already a senior at the University of Chicago, graduating in the spring with multiple degrees in Evolutionary Biology, Psychology, and Art.

Alex Robin

Alex was Ben's freshman year roommate at Columbia and they lived together for 3 of their 4 years of undergrad. Alex and Ben bonded over their love of movies, college football, and good food. Together with Taylor, Alex and Ben started a tradition of 'Thursday Movie Nights', which grew from the 3 of them to 15-20 people by their senior year. Alex works in investment banking and lives in Midtown East with his girlfriend Caroline. Ben and Madison often go to the movies with them.

Kasey Karkoska

Kasey and Madison met as freshman roommates (Carmen 714D!). Both West Coast natives, they became close friends quickly and continued to live as roommates for three out of four years at Columbia. Madison can't tell you the amount of times she heard Kasey's morning alarm song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran go off, she swears she still hears it in her dreams. Madison is also close with Kasey's family, having visited her home in Laguna Beach multiple times. She even flew to Austin, TX to celebrate Kasey's 21st birthday in June 2021! Although the two have shared hundreds of hilarious, crazy, and stressful moments from their time at Columbia, they still make time to see each other frequently. Kasey lives on the Upper West Side with her longtime boyfriend, Will, and works in sports and media marketing.

Taylor Weldon

Taylor was also Ben's freshman suitemate at Columbia. Also a founding member of movie night and a college football junkie, Ben and Taylor became fast friends. Taylor has also became incredibly close with both Ben's and Madison's family in Scottsdale. He is a regular guest at the McKeighan household, particularly for Thanksgiving. Taylor works at a startup in San Diego (for now) but is liable to quit at any moment. He is also recently engaged and Ben and Madison can't wait to celebrate Taylor and Kalie this summer at their own wedding.

Lindsay Rispoli

Madison and Lindsay met freshman year at Columbia, swimming side by side in practice together and fueling each other's (maybe unhealhy) shopping habits the two became fast friends. Madison even disposed of a mouse that was living in Lindsay's and Kasey's dorm room sophomore year. When they first starting working after graduation, Lindsay and Madison would meet for morning workouts at Equinox and then walk to their respective offices together. Madison has always and will continue to value her friendship with Lindsay, turning to her for advice and support in all aspects of her life. Lindsay currently lives in Chelsea (with roommate Yani!) and works in investment management.

Nicholas Smith

Groomsman

Nick was Ben's first friend at Copper Ridge Elementary School in 3rd grade. Nick asked if Ben wanted to join in on basketball at recess and Ben refused. Shortly after, Ben and Nick became friends and played sports together all through highschool. Nick was Ben's quarterback and they developed a dominant connection throughout their high school career, setting state records in passing and receiving. Today, Nick and Ben reunite around the Holidays and try to rekindle that connection at the annual Scottsdale Prep Turkey Bowl. 2024 may have signaled retirement after Ben's achilles tear.

Yani Le

Bridesmaid

Yani and Madison also met freshman year at Columbia where they swam (and sometimes struggled) together in the breaststroke/IM group. They both lived together for their junior and senior years of school, which is where Madison got to learn about Yani's expansive collection of matching PJ sets, her mostly black and monotone wardrobe and her child/cat, Marcus. Madison even got to witness Yani walking around the dorm in her "gi" when she took karate class senior year. Additionally, on car rides, Yani and Madison always shared the backseats together as they were the only ones who didn't get carsick. Yani currently lives in Chelsea (with roommate Lindsay!) and works in strategy at CapitalOne while also managing her food review account (@would.i.order.it.again)!

Ben Mathiasmier

Ben and Math met at the Columbia Spring Game in 2016, where Math was visiting as a recruit. Math being a safety and Ben a cornerback, they spent every day at football together in practice and meetings and became great friends both on and off the field. While they only played one play on the same side of the field together in their whole careers, it was perfect execution. Today Math works in investment banking in Tampa, FL and lives with his fiance Alyssa.

Kaleigh McGrady

Madison and Kaleigh met on Kaleigh's official recruiting trip to Columbia. Only a couple of minutes into meeting her, Madison knew she wanted Kaleigh to commit. Although a year apart in school, Madison spent so much time with Kaleigh that she was practically considered another roommate in the dorm suite. Kaleigh has always been fun, energetic, and loving to those around her. Although Madison is older, she has always looked up to Kaleigh and strives to live her life with the joy Kaleigh encompasses. Additionally, Kaleigh introduced Madison to multiple southern delicacies: sweet tea, Chick-fil-A, and of course Dixieland Delight. Although Kaleigh is no longer in NYC, she always keeps Madison updated on her current book reads, helping to fuel Madison's reading obsession. Kaleigh currently lives in Atlanta, GA, and works in corporate sales for the Atlanta Braves.

Graham Flinn

Graham and Ben met during Graham's freshman year at Columbia and spent a lot of time together, both being defensive backs. They became close during Ben's junior year as they both recovered from hip reconstructive surgery together. They also hosted a podcast together with Alex for a short stint on Game of Thrones. It was a big hit in Richmond, where Graham is from. Today, Graham works in investment management and lives on the Upper West Side. He and Ben see each other frequently, often having "class" on a variety of topics: government bureaucracy, foreign policy, and the Pac-12 being the best football conference that has ever existed.

Taylor Ruck

Taylor is one of Madison's oldest friends, having met when they were only 10 years old. Born only two days apart, the two had shared birthday parties from the ages of 10 to 17. At 15 years old, Madison bawled her eyes out as Taylor was named to join the Rio 2016 Olympic Team for Canada, where she went on to win two bronze medals. Taylor's list of achievements is nothing short of remarkable: Stanford graduate, multiple-time D1 NCAA Champion, 3x Olympian, and Medalist for Canada. Despite busy schedules and geographical distance, the two always make time to reunite while Madison is in AZ or when Taylor is on the East Coast.

Isaac Werkman

Isaac and Ben met at Columbia through their time on the football team. They have become very close since their time in college sharing a love of Pac-12 football. Isaac is always down for a good time and the life of the party. He's constantly urging the group to stop going to bed so early. He's not often successful but once in a while the group obliges. Isaac lives in Midtown East and works in Financial Services. Ben is looking forward to the fall when Isaac is often over for college football on the terrace.

Rachel McKeighan

Madison and Rachel met in 2020 during COVID. Madison was immediately intrigued by Rachel's brutally honest, hilarious, and extroverted personality. After graduation, Rachel moved to NYC, where she was—and still is—forced to spend many weekends with Madison. The two see each other regularly for movie and dinner dates (occasionally, Ben is also invited). There have also been a couple of rare occurrences where Rachel has used her excellent persuasion skills to convince Madison to go out to the bars with her. Rachel currently lives in Murray Hill and works in finance at ING.

Matthew Leblanc

Matt and Ben met during Covid, when he spent many days over at the Leblanc house. They've become close over the past 4 years and Ben is very grateful for being welcomed into the Leblanc family so kindly. In February 2024, Ben and Madison went to Boston to watch Matt compete in the Ivy League swim championships, where Ben was forced to root for Penn. In May, they went to Philadelphia to watch Matt graduate. After graduation, Matt started working in consulting in Washington DC. Ben and Madison are looking forward to visiting Matt in DC.

Sarah McKeighan

Madison met Sarah in 2020 when Sarah was only a sophomore in high school! During COVID, Madison had the opportunity to learn about Sarah's long list of passions: theater, romcoms, fashion, cured meats, beer, and hockey (new development!). Madison even did Sarah's hair and makeup for her junior prom. Sarah just returned home from a semester abroad in Barcelona and is finishing her junior year at the University of Arizona, studying fashion and merchandising. Madison and Ben selfishly hope she joins the rest of the McKeighan children in NYC in the future!
