Room block at Highland Lake Inn and Resort

Answer

There will be room blocks for Highland Lake Inn and Resort available. To reserve a room block call the resort and use the code 20562 for a discounted rate. You have until February 1st, 2025 to book under a room block with a discount, and afterwards the rooms will be released to general public for regular booking at regular rates. Please see the travel page for additional information.

Pretty Place Chapel is also known as Fred W. Symmes Chapel and may come up on a GPS as the alternative name. Pretty Place Chapel is in the state of South Carolina and it is about a 45-minute drive from Highland Lake Inn and Resort in North Carolina.

Although we love kids we have decided to make the ceremony and reception adults only.

Welcome Bonfire

Answer

The Bonfire will be held at the lakeside fire pit. Parking will be available at the Grand Old Hall. Feel free to bring your beverage of choice, adult or otherwise.

Alcohol on property

Answer

Highland Lake Inn and Resort allows wine and beer on property grounds, however due to NC liquor laws there cannot be open liquor on the grounds unless it is purchased through the resort.
