Timothy and Maddie met in the OR at Baptist Health Louisville as orderlies. Maddie was a sophomore at Bellarmine and Timothy was a sophomore at UofL. They bonded over being in school together and shared a similar interest in music. Timothy would confide in Maddie for things like what to wear. Maddie always felt calm around Tim because of his demeanor and appreciated his willingness to listen. They ran around in the same crowd for work events while remaining friends. They developed a strong friendship centered around ping pong and running. Tim and Maddie trained for a 50k over the pandemic and spent every day together for 6 months. Maddie realized the more time she spent with Tim, the less she wanted to spend away from him. Tim shared the same feelings. They both knew they were going to be in each other's lives forever, but didn't know to what extent. Maddie and Tim were ecstatic to find out that they were in love with each other. Timothy and Maddie are best friends and could not imagine a day without each other. They put the weird in weirdo and the fear in fearless. They cannot wait to celebrate their special day with you.
Tim and Maddie went on a camping trip to Red River Gorge with some friends. Maddie knew Tim would only propose if they were alone so she was not expecting him to propose that weekend. They planned to hike up Half Moon Sunday morning to watch the sunrise. Tim was hesitant to keep climbing because it was dark and a long way down. Maddie pushed him to keep going. When they climbed to the top of the rock they were amazed by the beauty. Tim got down on one knee and proposed to Maddie. Tim decided to propose to Maddie in the place where he fell in love with her. Maddie's only answer was YES!
