Madeline and Mohamed met in 2013 at Shepherd University. Mutual friends were meeting for lunch when the two fell in love over the dining hall mac n' cheese. They continued their relationship with intimate dates in Shepherdstown, West Virginia until 2017 when Madeline began her teaching career and Mohamed ventured to The University of Alabama for Law School... Roll Tide! Through countless flights and FaceTime calls, their love persevered. As they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder! In March 2022, Madeline and Mohamed planned a casual visit to Shepherdstown for dinner. After reminiscing and walking around campus, Mohamed surprised Madeline by proposing at the James Rumsey Monument. They're so excited to start the next chapter of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you in May!
