If you have free time while in Katy/Houston, here are a few things you can check out!

The Hermann Park is a nice place to enjoy your day in Houston! We recommend going to the Musuem of Natural Sciences, the Japanese Tea Garden, and Houston Zoo, but there is so much more to do in that area!

La Centerra is an outdoor shopping mall with plenty of food options if you're looking for a place to eat a meal in Katy. It's also just nice to walk around, there's lots of ducks!

We eat at Katy Asian Town ALL THE TIME. There are so many great places to eat and drink, the website above has some recommendations and details. A few of favorites are Phat Eatery, TeaTop, Square Root Poke, and Lava Coffee.

We try to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival every year we can! There are performances, shopping, games, and some of the best food I have ever had. It is a great way to spend the day after the wedding, or maybe the morning of!
