Home of the Colorado Rockies and one of the most beautiful ballparks around. Go for a Rockies game (they play at home every day September 13-18!) and sit in the upper deck along the first base line for views of the mountains and sunset.

Located just a short walk from downtown Golden, tour the largest single-site brewery in the world.

A great spot for a happy hour or casual dinner. Pour your own beer and check out the rooftop patio!

The Golden Mill

A moderate 4 mile loop trail near Golden. This is one of our favorite hikes for out of towners as it offers a great reward for the effort.

Hike Mount Galbraith Loop via Cedar Gulch Trail

A great hike for beginners! Almost the entire uphill portion happens in the first half mile of this 3 mile hike. Take it slow and enjoy a beautiful walk around the top of North Table Mountain with views of downtown Denver.

Hike Tilting Mesa to Mesa Top Loop

If hiking isn't your thing, Lookout Mountain is a short drive from downtown Golden and offers great views over Golden and of the mountains to the west! Our engagement photos were taken on Lookout Mountain too!

Our favorite coffee spot located in the heart of downtown Golden. Grab your favorite drink and browse the shops along Washington Ave.

If the weather is warm, you will see lots of tubes in downtown Golden. Rent a tube in town and follow the crowds to float down clear creek!
