We're getting married!

Josh and Mindy met in the most romantic fashion ever - at work. Many years ago, Mindy walked into Best Buy for an interview and Josh, while protecting the store's assets from thieves, sarcastically told Mindy she wasn't going to get the job. What a jerk, right? Fast forward to Mindy getting the job. After a year of awkward timing and some harmless flirting, the two finally decided to date each other. The bad news is they no longer work at Best Buy. The good news is they've moved on to bigger and better careers, have done some major growing up, separately and together, and love each other (and their dogs - shoutout to Ari and Lloyd!) beyond words.

Every year, the Mahoney fam ventures to Florida's beautiful Santa Rosa Beach. Mindy always thought it would be the perfect place to get engaged - it's a beach, let alone a beach on the emerald coast, it's vacation time, and it's the family's home away from home. Thankfully, Josh thought so too. On September 10, 2021, after roughly 10 years and 364 days of dating, Josh popped the question. This was only a few hours after getting off the plane, and only a few minutes into everyone setting foot onto the sand. He couldn't get the ring out quick enough (ironic, sure, but so sweet) and it was the perfect proposal. In other words, f#@%ing finally.
