Although Alex and MacKenzy went to high school together, it wasn’t until a summer night in 2015 that they really connected. MacKenzy was out on the town with her girlfriends after a long day of golf and Alex was celebrating his birthday. All it took was one dance and the rest was history! They enjoyed being foodies together, traveling, concerts, hunting, and boating on the lake. Then on MacKenzy’s birthday, Alex got down on one knee with only Henry and their dog Benji as witness. Alex and MacKenzy have cherished taking their time getting to know each other and becoming best friends and can’t wait to keep growing and learning together.
