When Shayne proposed, he had told me we were going to take some pictures to start a new tradition and send Christmas cards. He had picked some places he wanted to go, starting at the place we first met. We went for a walk down memory lane, and visited many of our first and favorite places. Eventually we stopped for a snack at my favorite restaurant before he took me to the last place he wanted to go; the waterfront! I couldn't recall another time that we had been here in the past, and asked what 'first' experience we had there. Little did I know we were making new memories, because while I was looking out over the water, he told me 'This is the place where I first asked you to be my wife!' We shared this moment together on December 22, 2019 and have been enjoying every moment since in the planning of our wedding. We absolutely cannot wait to share this new memory with you!
