Yes, we will be sending out emails to let you know whether you are being picked up at the 2:00 time or the 3:30 time.

How do I get from the Florence Airport to the main train station.

Answer

The most convenient and least expensive way is to use the direct Tram line T2: https://www.gestramvia.it/airport/?lang=en There are also buses, taxis, or private drivers.

Is there luggage storage near the train station

Answer

Yes, there are luggage storage facilities throughout the historic district of Florence, including very near the train station. You can do a google map search to find locations. Should we get travel insurance?

Answer

We strongly suggest that you do, including a policy that covers any health emergency. Many venues in the tourist areas of Europe do not offer refunds for travel during the fall months.

Can we bring food and drink to the accommodations at Castello del Trebbio?

Answer

Yes, each Villa/Apartment includes a shared kitchen area with a refrigerator for storing food and drinks, including any beer, wine, or spirits you may want to bring.

Since the venue is an active vineyard, can we purchase some of their wine on site?

Answer

Yes, there will be a wine tasting the night before the wedding, and their wine shop will be open that afternoon and the day of the wedding. They also offer other products produced by the vineyard, including olive oil, saffron, jams, and beauty products.

Should I bring a bathing suit?

Answer

Yes! There will be three pools to choose from, so let's hope for some warm September weather. Towels will be provided for the swimming pools since the venue has a super strict policy against using room towels at the pools, so please, do not use your room towel.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please let us know ASAP so that we can ask the venue to accommodate the allergy.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

At this time, all the events are listed on the Schedule page, but there is the possibility that some of the guests will arrange and host events in Florence before or after the Wedding Celebration. If so and we are informed of such events, we will post them here, so please check back as the date approaches.
