One of our favorite hikes! The East ascent (Cholla) is longer, easier and more walking. The West ascent (Echo Canyon) is shorter but more difficult as it requires scrambling on rocks. Even if you don’t make it to the top, the view is spectacular at any point!, Highly recommend this!

Lake Pleasant Regional Park

Check out this huge beautiful body of water just 15 miles north of the venue. If boating, fishing, SUP, or anything water related is your thing... you need to see this! There are numerous hiking trails where you can spot a wild burro, javelina, coyote or bobcat. Bald eagles also inhabit the area! It will likely be too cold to spot a rattlesnake - thank goodness!! Casual waterfront dining is an option at the two different harbors: Scorpion Bay Grill or at Dillon's Bayou at Pleasant Harbor.
