Our story is somewhat a casual one for the dating scene these days. To make a long story short… Macie had dated a few guys prior to meeting Matt and they had completely broke her heart. Macie had lost all hopes of finding anyone or even trying. Macie was waiting for that one guy to stand out to her. She told herself, and God, that she was not going to be the one pushing herself or forcing a relationship on anyone, she was DONE. She definitely wasn’t going to date just any guy. Macie told her self that she wants to find a guy that pursues her. That is exactly what she found. So, here’s where it gets funny. Matt had Macie’s Snapchat. Matt messaged Macie about coming over and tubing in the snow and ridding four wheelers, around February of 2021. Macie, of course, turned him down. In Macie’s mind, it was just another dude that didn’t want anything serious. Matt asked several times to meet Macie to hangout. Once again, Macie turned him down every time. Then, in April of 2021; Matt didn’t ask this time, he insisted that they are going on a date and they were going April 2nd, 2021 to Strawberry Alley in Clarksville, Tn. Macie noticed that he had been persistent and never gave up trying to go on a date with her. So, Macie said okay. That is where the story began. Matt knew from the first time he met Macie that he was going to marry her. Macie, on the other hand, still wasn’t sold. She knew he was a good guy and he never gave up trying to go on a date with her, so she gave him the chance. Macie got questionable about him on their first date. Everything had went great from the start to the end of the date. Until, it got to the paying part. Matt went to pay and could not find his credit card. Macie was thinking to her self, “wow, another dude that’s going to make me pay for our dinner. Here we go.” Matt was freaking out. He knew that if he had to make her pay that he would never see her again. Don’t worry, Matt eventually found his credit card. After our real first date, where he meet her whole family, Macie knew he was the one. Not only did he meet her parents, but he meet her brother, sister n law, nephew, and the grandparents. All unplanned. Macie knew that day that he was the one. She was thinking to herself, “God, he really must be the one for you to randomly send over the whole family.” The whole family loved him from the first time they met him. That was another sign that she knew he was the one. Macie had never met anyone that treated her right, showed her off, and made her feel special. And here we are to today, planning a wedding.
