We met at a local Bible study in the summer of 2023. Our initial conversations were so easy to fall into, making the minutes melt away and leading us to desire continued conversations immediately after the study ended. After a few more meetings, we exchanged phone numbers and began talking regularly, though that was a poor substitute for face-to face conversations. In March of 2024, we met up outside of the Bible study for the first time. Several hours passed in a blink, both of us coming away surprised at how well we got along. A true friendship was set that first meetup, and as we continued to meet, it became clear the friendship could become something more very soon. One month after our first friendly meetup, we became a couple, and the time spent together since has been the best of our respective lives! We’ve been on so many adventures- out of state, to new jobs, to events we’d otherwise never experience… the list goes on. Each of us considers the other a blessing from God, and a now-essential part of our lives. Before our first year was up, it was clear we wanted to stay together forevermore, and in December 2024, we got engaged!
