In the spring of 2017, Caleb and Miranda were in the same math class together: College Algebra with Kevin Hastings. Caleb sat at the back of the class and Miranda towards the front, so he had the perfect seat to see her every day-- and to walk past her desk every day. Miranda took notice and eventually began regularly looking over her shoulder to the back of the classroom. Rather than being forward and introducing himself after class, Caleb scrounged the class website to find "Miranda" on the class list because the only thing he was interested in learning that day was her last name. Once Caleb knew Miranda's full name, he found her on Instagram, followed her, and waited for the right moment. One day after Caleb "forgot" to do an assigned worksheet, he knew it was the right time to 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘔𝘴. The conversation started with a question about math, but quickly led to questions about interests, views, and schedule. Eventually, the two met to hang out for the first time at Shady Rest park, and the rest, as they say, was history.
