Let's get this party started!

I would like to start our story by saying we were High School Sweethearts but, unfortunately, that’s not how our tale begins. While Lynnette and I have known each other since Junior High, our lives took different paths until 4 years ago. After almost 15 years of not seeing or talking to each other, we reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding in Mexico. Now, before you go jumping ahead, this wasn’t the beginning of our romantic relationship. It wasn’t until almost a year later that Lynnette took a job transfer from Los Angeles to San Diego. Coincidentally, she moved into an apartment about a mile away from me. When I found out she moved, I did what anyone common romantic would do. I sent her a message on Facebook. I’m not going to tell you how long it took her to respond but as soon as we met up it was magic.
