For the more adventurous, Treetop Adventures at Elmwood Park Zoo features over 50 challenge games and zip lining that spans up to 50 feet above the ground in the trees of the zoo. It’s Pennsylvania’s only ropes course with zip lines over animal exhibits!

The Stoogeum
Calling all fans of The Three Stooges! (I’m looking at you, Dad). Containing close to 100,000 pieces of Stoogeabilia, the Stoogeum (rhymes with museum) offers fans a chance to view a vast array of artifacts which celebrate the legacy of this legendary comedy team. The 10,000 square-foot, 3-story building houses anything and everything Stooge. Artifacts from 1918 to the present are on exhibit, including several interactive displays. Right now the museum is open by appointment only (this may change by the date of our wedding!) Valley Forge National Historical Park
Valley Forge is the encampment site of the Continental Army during the winter of 1777-1778. The park features 3,500 acres of monuments, meadows, and woodlands commemorating the sacrifices and perseverance of the Revolutionary War generation and honoring the power of people to pull together and overcome adversity during extraordinary times.

Located a 20 minute drive from Normandy Farm, Wissahickon Valley Park features more than 50 miles of rugged trails that offer hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians the opportunity to explore the park’s dense forests, open meadows, and shaded creeks. Wissahickon Creek is stocked with trout every spring, luring fishermen to its banks, while birdwatchers migrate to the restored Andorra and Houston meadows to witness the arrival of dozens of bird species. Plan a hike, bike ride, picnic in the park or just take in the beautiful scenery!
