Where To Stay
We recommend booking your stay as soon as possible. The island has limited places to stay and as we get closer to Spring those placed will get booked. Staying on another island isn’t a great option, as the ferry doesn’t sail late at night.
If you want a more walkable experience, we recommend staying in or near Friday Harbor. This is where the reception will be, so you can easily walk back at the end of the night.
If you prefer something quieter with the ability to enjoy the nature of the island, then we recommend staying outside of Friday Harbor but you will need a car and it can take 20 mins to get into town from some parts of the island.
If you are booking on Airbnb or Vrbo, we would recommend trying to find the place on this site as it is usually cheaper and has a better refund policy:
