Lydia had just moved to England to complete her 3rd year clinical rotations for medical school during the Covid-19 pandemic. Lockdown had just been lifted for the Holiday season in England and of course, like a true Youngstown, OH native, she was craving good Italian food! So she googled some restaurants in Windsor, UK and a place called, Sebastian’s was the first to pop up. However, when she called they were fully booked, but she was persistent in her search! She then came across another place, called Enzo's Resturante, not to far from Sebastian's and lucky enough they had a table! When her and her friends arrived it was this beautifully decorated quant place that made everyone feel as if they were in Italy. They were initially greeted and sat by Ermir, Vinni's oldest brother, who was very hospitable and he even asked if us ladies were doctors since we looked so professional. Throughout the night Lydia and her friends received delicious complimentary appetizers along with the amazing Lasagna she ordered for dinner. And to top it off, they were also served free dessert! At that moment, Lydia was beaming, because not only did she make the right restaurant choice, but in her mind she thought, “Wow! I guess being an almost doctor DOES have its perks!” Haha When dinner concluded and they all stood up to leave, Lydia noticed the Chef coming out of the pizzeria, to hand her friend a piece of paper to give to her. Lydia smiled, took the paper and started to make her way out. But quickly she thought, “Wait! I didn’t even see what the Chef actually looked like! I should turn around..” And she will never forget as she turned around to get in one good look at the mystery Chef and wave goodbye, his brother Ermir said, "Just Text him! You'll always have the best food you've ever eaten in your life!" And he was right! To this day, Lydia always teases Vinni by saying, “Thank goodness Sebastian’s was booked or you might have never of met me!” And Vinni always replies by saying, “Yup, and thank goodness you texted me too because the minute I saw you walk into our restaurant, I said out loud ‘I’m going to marry that girl’”.❤️
