Camden moved to Carthage our Sophomore year. He was the average "new guy" and I thought he was so handsome. Unfortunately, COVID occurred our Sophomore year, so Junior year it was. We started hanging out as "best friends" for a few weeks, but we all know how that goes. Needless to say, we were young and in love within a month. High School Sweethearts and forever to go!

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and we got ready at each of our houses, as we have every week. The morning was a sweet, classic Sunday. We went to Sunday School, the church service, and in my mind, (Lydia's) we were going to our local Mexican food restaurant with my parents. Camden had bigger plans lol. My mom made the excuse at church that she forgot her debit card at the house and asked if Cam and I would go get it. Of course, we head that way. I'm still CLUELESS. We get there and I ask Cam to go grab it off the counter because I was on my phone, trying out glasses frames out on the Zenni Optical website... Well Cam gets out and comes around to my door and tells me he saw something weird in my backyard. Note I am still clueless. We round the corner and I see rose petals leading to the spot he got down on a knee and asked me to marry him. We then went to my grandma's house where all of our family was waiting to celebrate. I was SO surprised and it couldn't have been a better day! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Longview!
