Jeff and Elizabeth Olson (parents of the groom) are kind enough to host their property for our wedding. The land rests above the beautiful Puget Sound with beach access below. The Olson property is full of gorgeous gardening, tiny homes, greenhouses, and plenty of space to gather and enjoy the scenery. The reception will be held on the property surrounding the Olson home, and the ceremony will be held on the beach with an incredible view of the Puget Sound ocean inlet.
We want to host a celebration of our marriage that is memorable for everyone. Aaron and Lydia are not afraid to break tradition, whether that's the inverse schedule, local ice cream swapped for cake, or ditching the heels for matching white Chucks. We will also provide several entertaining activities to do during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. Rest assured that there won't be a dull moment all night!
Yes! We want to spend as much time as possible with out guests. That means we want to join you in the cocktail hour, and allow everyone to settle in and get comfortable before traveling down to the beach for the ceremony.
Typical weather in this area will range from a high in the mid 70s, and a low in the mid-to-low 50s. Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Solid colors are encouraged over large patterns. It may get slightly chilly by the end of the night, so be sure to bring a jacket or sweater! High heel-lovers: Opt for a chunkier heel or wedge, as much of the property is grass! Footwear Recs: Be mindful of your footwear, as parking may be a 3-5 minute walk from the reception.
Downtown Olympia is about a 30 minute drive from the venue. It is recommended that you Uber, Lyft, or carpool to the venue. We are in the works of getting an evening shuttle back to Olympia, so you can get to your room safely. Please keep in touch for updates.
Parking may be a 3-5 minute walk from the venue, and ground may be uneven in some places, so please be mindful of your footwear. Parking directions will be indicated with signage upon arrival.
Your invitation will indicate either both of your names as a couple, or your name. We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for your understanding!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
RSVPs can be made online though the final tab on this website! Please do so by May 1st, 2023, so we can plan accordingly.
