Details and FAQs

You have questions, this page has answers!
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see you dressed in your best garden formal attire! This includes florals, pastels and lighter colors (of course you are more than welcome to wear whatever). Dresses, suits and kilts are all welcome. We are going to be outside on grass please choose your shoes wisely. Please no casual attire (jeans, tshirts, or shorts)!

Question

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors! Rain or shine! It's Michigan after all!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will tell you if you are allowed a plus one. We will have only so much space and sustenance for everybody so if your plus one was not invited, there will not be enough food for them. Please be sure to feed and water them on your own, thank you!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults-only with the exception of chosen family. We respectfully ask for you to make arrangements for your children so we can celebrate with you!

Question

Parking?

Answer

We ask that you do not park on the septic field, there will be either signs or a person directing where parking will be. Most parking will be on the road if not directed elsewhere. The venue is a residence, please be respectful.

Question

Arrival?

Answer

If you are attending the ceremony we would like you to arrive about 15-20 minutes before just to accommodate for everyone getting settled. If you are only attending the reception, at time is best. Or later if you don't want to eat.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

We love your pups but we ask that you don't. The dogs that will be at the wedding are ones that live at the location of the wedding.
