WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Exactly seven years from when they got engaged, Kyle & Kelsey thought they were just going on a camping trip with friends to party to country music & make up for missing out on Stagecoach that year. Kelsey, a SoCal girl who grew up in a beach town "bubble" that she hardly ever left, & Kyle, a small-town Northern California boy who loved an adventure & a good reason to party, both made their way down to the California-Arizona border to spend the weekend at their friends river house. Although they had met before, it was this particular time that Kyle had really caught Kelsey's eye. On the last night of the trip, Kelsey's friend Summer suggested they go down to the beach & sleep on the sand since it was such a perfect night. Kyle, never one to miss an opportunity to enjoy a few more drinks, enthusiastically agreed. As the night progressed, Kelsey & Kyle found themselves engaged in conversation & sipping Jose Cuervo while gazing up at the stars. It was on that night that they shared their first kiss. Kelsey decided to take a chance & “slide into his DMs." Their texting conversations quickly became incessant, & before they knew it, they were planning to meet up. Choosing Morro Bay as a halfway point, they both traveled to spend a weekend together. The weekend was absolutely perfect – Kyle took Kelsey to see otters, which, if you know her, might have sealed the deal right there. They ate delicious food & had great drinks in this little beach town, & even stayed up late into the night eating Domino's pizza in bed while talking the night away. It was during this time that they both realized they were in trouble – their connection was undeniable, & not much could keep them apart. For the next year & a half, Kelsey & Kyle took turns driving across the state determined to spend as much time together as possible. In August of 2017, after a year & a half of long-distance, Kelsey & Kyle made the decision to move in together. Kelsey took a leap of faith, & moved to Campbell to start a new chapter of her life with Kyle. They settled into a cozy apartment with their friend & roommate Alec. Over the next 11 months, they learned about living together, welcomed a puppy into their lives, & deepened their bond before receiving life-changing news. In July of 2018, Kelsey & Kyle learned they were expecting their son, Eli. They were excited & scared as they shared the news with family. In January of 2019, their lives were forever changed in the most magical way when Eli arrived two months early. After Eli's birth, Kyle and Kelsey found themselves back in Kyle's hometown of Tracy, CA. They rented a house but after about a year of renting, they decided it was time to take the next step to buy their own home. Just two weeks before they were scheduled to move into their new house, they received another life-changing surprise – Kelsey was pregnant with their second child. In February of 2021, Kelsey & Kyle found themselves expecting a baby girl, Emi. With a relatively smooth pregnancy, they eagerly anticipated Emi's arrival, which came in early October of 2021. With Emi's arrival, they knew their family was complete. After a year of turning their house into a home Kyle decided it was finally the perfect time to propose. With the help of Kelsey’s best friend Sadey & both families, Kyle meticulously planned Kelsey's dream engagement. Every detail was carefully thought out & executed to perfection, leaving Kelsey completely unsuspecting. Looking back at the photos, Kyle realized that he unintentionally proposed on the exact last day of the camping trip where they had first met, creating a truly full-circle moment that they will forever cherish. It was an extraordinary day, & now they can't wait to celebrate their long-awaited marriage with their family and friends.
