Dear Friends and Family, We are beyond excited to have you join us for our destination wedding in beautiful France! This trip is not just about celebrating our special day, but also about creating unforgettable memories together. Above, you'll find a brief history of our beautiful wedding venue. We are so excited to celebrate with you from July 27th to July 30th, 2026, which will include a welcome party, the ceremony, the reception, and a relaxing recovery pool day! Our wedding party and immediate family will be staying at Chateau La Durantie, while we’ve curated a selection of nearby accommodations for all other guests. These include local hotels, charming cottages, Airbnbs, and luxury hotels, all conveniently located within a short distance of the venue. We understand that the location may be a bit tricky to reach, so we’re here to help with detailed travel guidance. We recommend flying into one of the best nearby airports, from which you can take a train to Limoges Benedictins station. From there, you can easily rent a car to reach your accommodation or Chateau La Durantie. We're also working on arranging transportation to and from the venue and will keep you updated as those details come together. In the meantime, please explore the accommodations listed below. Best Flight Information
To find the best flight to get to Chateau La Durantie, which is located near Limoges, France, the closest major airports would be: -Limoges-Bellegarde Airport (LIG) – The closest airport, about 25 km from the chateau. While it may not have the most international options, it’s a good choice if you can find a direct flight to Limoges from major European cities. -Brive–Souillac Airport (BVE) – Located about 100 km from the venue, this airport also serves some international flights, mainly from the UK and a few other European countries. -Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD) – Around 220 km from the chateau, Bordeaux has more international flight options, including flights from North America, Europe, and the UK. You can take a train or rent a car from here to the venue. -Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) – About 230 km from the chateau, Toulouse offers a wide range of international flights. It's another great option, as there are both flight and train connections to Limoges from here. -Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) – If you're coming from outside Europe, Paris is one of the most common international gateways. It's about a 3-hour train ride or a 1-hour domestic flight to Limoges from Paris. Recommended Travel Route: -Fly into Paris (CDG) (if coming from outside Europe) or Bordeaux (BOD) / Toulouse (TLS) (for European flights). -Take a train from Paris to Limoges Benedictins Station (approximately 2 hours) or from Bordeaux/Toulouse to Limoges. -Rent a car from Limoges Benedictins station and drive to the chateau (around 25-30 minutes).
