Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at one of our two hotel room blocks (The Cape or Hacienda del Mar), where we have secured discounted rates on rooms. The Cape is a luxury boutique resort that offers a convenient option since the wedding and day-after brunch are both located there. Hacienda del Mar is an upscale beachfront resort with more affordable rates, conveniently located about 10 minutes from The Cape.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Given the early sunset this time of year, the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes or so in advance to find a seat!

What is the best option for transportation in and around Cabo?

Answer

There are several transportation options in Cabo: 1. Taxi: Both hotels have taxis on site 24/7 and can arrange rides for you as needed. 2. Uber: It’s easy to get around around by Uber in Cabo, but they are not allowed to pick up at the airport. 3. Shuttle: We recommend using a shuttle service for airport to hotel transportation. See our "Travel" section for more information on how to book our recommended service, Impala Cabo. 4. Rental car: This is a great option if you'd like the freedom to explore and travel throughout the weekend. When you arrive at the airport a rental car shuttle will take you to the car pickup location.

Is transportation provided to the wedding events?

Answer

Shuttles to the Welcome Party restaurant will depart The Cape and Hacienda del Mar at 5:30pm on December 3rd and drop guests back off at the end of the night. We are also providing a shuttle to the Wedding ceremony at The Cape for guests staying at Hacienda del Mar, departing Hacienda del Mar at 4:00pm on December 4th. We will not be providing return transportation at the end of the night so guests can decide when they want to leave the party! Taxis are available from The Cape 24/7.

Welcome Party: dressy casual (think daytime cocktail party attire) Wedding: formal attire (suits and ties, formal dresses) Brunch: casual!

What are the travel restrictions to and from Mexico related to Covid-19?

Answer

Mexico is open to travelers. There is no need to provide a negative PCR test to travel to Mexico or quarantine on arrival, though most resorts ask guests to fill out health questionnaires. Vaccinated U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents returning to the US need a negative Covid-19 test taken within three days of their departing flight. Unvaccinated travelers will need to present a negative test taken within one day of departure for the US. Most hotels, including The Cape and Hacienda del Mar, provide on-site Covid-19 testing for your return flight to the US.
