I still remember the time he took me hunting and I shot my first deer. Waking up at the crack of dawn and waiting for hours in a tree stand wasn't exactly as fun as I had imagined it, but it made it worth it when I was finally able to take that shot! Thank you for always encouraging me to take the shot, and showing me the big things, the small things, and all the in-between things (like gutting a deer) of life.
