Til Death Do Us Part

Luke will tell you that he noticed Alex long before they ever spoke... but being one of only a few women in the Mechanical Engineering program at University of South Florida didn't make it too difficult to stand out. Eventually their paths crossed and so it began... their first unofficial date was at Peabody's by USF, drinking fishbowls and playing pool. Their first OFFICIAL date was at the all-you-can-eat sushi place down the street... questionable choice but their love of sushi remains strong. After school followed several years of long distance once Luke commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Lots of hours of driving and flying paid off, when Luke proposed on September 2, 2022 in the beautiful Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Gardens on O'ahu. And that brings us to today, when they are FINALLY tying the knot and starting their lives together. They currently live on O'ahu with their cat Valkyrie and still enjoy a good sushi date, going out with friends, exploring the island or just watching a movie on the couch.
