Beautiful rose garden located in Washington Park close to other attractions (zoo, Hoyt Arboretum, Japanese garden, archery range, and more). Free but have to pay for parking.
Powell's City Of Books
The biggest independent bookstore in the world! There is another, smaller location on Hawthorne.
Portland Japanese Garden
Zen garden with lots to explore. It's also in Washington Park (like the rose garden) and close to the zoo, Hoyt Arboretum, archery range, and more.
Lan Su Chinese Garden
Intimate garden tucked away with a lovely teahouse on site.

Hannah's favorite jewelry store! They also have crystals and other goodies. Located on Hawthorne by other cute shops, bars, and restaurants.

Division Wines
Hannah's absolute favorite spot! Helpful staff (ask them what you're looking for if you need advice navigating the menu), tasty wine, and delicious cheese boards/food!
Pinolo Gelato
Several people said it's the best gelato they've have in the US... Located on Division by other cute shops, bars, and restaurants.

The best cocktails and yummy food! Can get crowded but great ambiance. We recommend sitting at the bar.
Mt. Tabor Park
Our favorite park located by our condo. It's an ancient volcano so there's a lot of incline and mix of greenery and pavement. Great views of the city.
Cathedral Park
Beautiful park under the St. John's Bridge in North Portland. Right by Occidental Brewing (German style beer and food). If the weather is nice, we might have a picnic here on Sunday :)
Sckavone's Restaurant
A Portland staple, good for brunch, lunch, or dinner. I recommend the Moroccan Coffee. Right next to the best thrift store, Village Merchants.

LGBTQ+ owned taqueria. Fun atmosphere and the shrimp taco is amazing!
