Our story

Lukas and Bri met on a snowy day in February of 2017. She was at a friend's house when Lukas came over to snow plow her driveway. She thought he was absolutely adorable in his huge tan colored snow pants. They had talked for a couple of weeks before Bri mustered up the courage to ask Lukas to her junior prom. She asked him by walking into his building trades class with a tackle box full of candy reading " I reel-y like you. I want to o'fishaly ask you, will you tackle prom with me? ". He said yes. Prom was only a couple weeks away, so their first date consisted of renting a suit and dinner. Applebee's parking lot in his dad's first gen Dodge is where Lukas asked Bri to be his girlfriend. Lukas and Bri found quality time in taking his Jeep wheeling through the woods of West Milford. That's where they learned the most about each other. They love going to truck shows, quad riding, fishing, watching Netflix (when they can both agree on a show) and camping. Some of their best memories were made outdoors. Like the time Lukas taught Bri how to fish, and she fell in the water. Or the time Bri taught Lukas how to ride a horse and he seemed to be a professional after the horse took off. Lukas and Bri's proposal was one out of a movie. Lukas had surprised Bri with a week long trip to Montana for their 5 year anniversary. They stayed in Ennis, Montana in an air bnb surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Four days into their trip Lukas asked Bri if they could take pictures in the backyard of the log cabin they were staying in. It's there where Lukas got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. We are so excited to start this next chapter of our lives, and feel so blessed to have you joining us as we say "I do".
