You can check with your phone carrier first to see what deals they have, but if they are pricey we recommend getting a SIM card for Italy. You will NOT need to purchase phone call minutes or text messages. You just need to purchase Data because you can use your Data to make calls, texts, etc. on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WHATSAPP ACCOUNT :) https://www.traveltomtom.net/destinations/europe/italy/best-prepaid-italy-sim-card
Yes, it works exactly like it works here for the trains, walking, or driving routes. I would recommend Google Maps instead of Apple Maps or other map programs.
Italian outlets are different from those in the US. If you have never been overseas, please purchase a wall converter so that you can still charge your phone and use all of your appliances while there.
The currency in Italy is Euros. You can easily contact your bank to obtain Euros in advance of your trip and pick them up when ready. Currency exchange can be cheaper to purchase here than from the Naples airport. Regarding credit cards, you should contact your bank to let them know you will be using your credit card overseas so that your transactions don’t get blocked.
We are anticipating approximately 70 guests.
Maybe. The simple answer is yes if it is somebody that the bride and groom have met. Please understand that there is a set limit and we are not planning to have people attend who we have never met.
YES! Please RSVP either through this website or via text message is fine. Please state in your RSVP any additional guests you are requesting to bring so that we can approve and track this request.
Please see the Registry page for this information, and thoughtfully consider the number of people in your party when making this selection.
Nope, not at all! This page is made for YOU GUYS! :). We can assist with any translation while around and while the wedding will be held primarily in Italian, we will have a translator repeat every bit of it in English. There will be a fairly large group of Americans, so you will not be alone at all! Google Translate is also a good resource.
Expected weather in Naples in early May will be around 75 degrees high with a 50 degree low, so perhaps bring a light sweater with you. Also bring comfortable walking shoes.
We absolutely understand that some people may have flights that do not allow them to make it. That is fine; we just wanted the opportunity to treat and greet our guests and make sure they are okay. If you cannot come, please send a text to let us know that you have arrived/departed safely. We care about you all!
BEFORE May 1st, please feel free to contact the bride/groom. AFTER May 1st, please refrain from contacting bride/groom except for urgent questions, as they will be very, very busy. During that time, please contact Maddy Gomez who will be the POC for any wedding-related questions. She will be happy to assist. Phone/WhatsApp: (407) 591-0974 (US number)
