We’re getting married!

It all started when Az walked into Courtney’s classroom and settled all of the crying babies in 30 seconds flat. Courtney rolled her eyes, Az smirked, and the last baby to fall asleep threw a pacifier across the room which made them both laugh out loud. Prince Charming was good with kids, that’s one for the pro list even if neither knew how much was to come. A few months of riding Bart with the east bay crew, several dinners and parties with coworkers, one zombie crawl, Az making Courtney’s 28th birthday extra special, and a ring pop proposal later… and it was safe to say we were more than just friends. Az joked that he was looking for his Cinderella and Courtney responded that she’s always been a princess, “so this is love….”. In October 2018 Az put a ring (pop) on it and our dating adventure began. We knew then we were meant to do this thing called life together. Five years passed in a blink complete with many Disneyland trips, a pandemic, new jobs, long commutes, grad school, apartment hopping, puppy adoption, and everything in between, and the time had come for the next big adventure. Az granted the wish Courtney’s heart made and popped the question in October 2023. After 5 years, he curated the perfect Disney moment complete with coordinated outfits to officially ask Courtney to marry him (Spoiler alert - she said yes!) and off they set on their biggest adventure yet! Our gathering will be held on a Sunday, we know! For our family and friends who may not be accustomed to a Sunday wedding, we hope you’ll make a long weekend or staycation of the occasion!
