Shuttle

Shuttles will running periodically from The Point Bar & Grill (697 Montauk Hwy, Montauk, NY 11954) to the ceremony, and back later in the evening. Uber is also an option for those who don't want to drive.
Flight
Laguardia and JFK are the closest major airports to Montauk. Newark is another option but is a little further away. There are also smaller regional airports like Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) that get you closer. Montauk is about a 2-2.5 hour drive from either LGA or JFK. The train is also an option from JFK (approx 3 hour trip): Take the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station. Then from Jamaica, take the LIRR (Montauk Branch) to Montauk.
Train
The LIRR is an easy way to get to Montauk from JFK or from within NYC. If traveling from Penn Station, you will need to transfer at Jamaica to the Montauk Branch. Total travel time from Penn Station is about 3 hours.
