Answer
Dripping Springs is approximately 20 miles southwest of Austin. Coined the "Gateway to the Hill Country," we hope you enjoy an escape from the city.

When do I need to RSVP?
Answer
Please mail your RSVP no later than September 20, 2024. Don't forget to select your meal preference and let us know if you'll be attending the welcome party!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM on November 2, 2024. Please arrive by 4:30 PM to find your seat - there are 200 of you coming!

Can I drive to the welcome party and wedding venue?
Answer
You can! Camp Lucy has ample parking, all located within a short distance of each venue.

Is there a shuttle to and from wedding events?
Answer
There is! For the welcome party at Ian's Chapel (Camp Lucy) on November 1, shuttle service will leave at 7:00pm from the Courtyard Marriott Dripping Springs. The shuttle return to the hotel at 9:30pm. For the wedding ceremony at Sacred Oaks (Camp Lucy) on November 2, shuttle service will leave at 4:00pm at the Courtyard Marriott Dripping Springs. The shuttle will return to the hotel at 11:00pm.

How should I dress?
Answer
November in Texas is typically lovely (fingers crossed)! Expect temperatures between 55 and 75 degrees. The welcome party, wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will all be held outside. We have selected a black-tie optional dress code for the wedding ceremony on Saturday, November 2. Cocktail dress, formal gown, suit and tie or tuxedo are all suitable! The welcome party on Friday, November 1 is cocktail attire.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We are limiting our guest list to the children of family members only. If your child is invited, they will be included on your formal invitation.

When do I need to have my hotel room booked?
Answer
For guests staying at the Courtyard Marriott Dripping Springs, room reservations should be made by October 1, 2024. For those staying at the AC Hotel Austin, room reservations should be made by October 1, 2024. Reservations can be canceled without penalty up until 48 hours prior to your stay.

I'm staying in Austin. How do I get to Camp Lucy?
Answer
While Uber/Lyft is readily available from Austin to Camp Lucy, we ask guests to be aware rideshare options may be limited traveling from Camp Lucy back to Austin. There will be a shuttle from The Courtyard Marriott Dripping Springs prior to the welcome party and wedding ceremony for guests. The shuttle will make cyclical trips back to the Courtyard Marriott Dripping Springs after the wedding ceremony as well.

I'm staying at Camp Lucy. . .what kind of activities are available?
Answer
Camp Lucy offers all kinds of unique on-site activities! These include the resort pool, Tillie's restaurant & bar, hiking trails, gift shop, communal fire pit and rotating guest programming options. Don't forget to visit the alpacas!

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?
Answer
