We’re getting married!

Hello friends and family!! Due to Covid-19 we have decided to postpone our wedding to August 9th. Our guests health and safety is our top priority. We hope you are still able to join us! We cannot wait to celebrate with you all. Please RSVP for our new date by July 11th.

Jesse had been scheming for weeks for the proposal. He had one of our photographer friends reach out to me and ask if we would do a shoot with her so she could "expand her portfolio." I immediately said YES! Now mind you, Jesse is not the biggest fan of photo-shoots so I knew he would need some convincing. With little enthusiasm he said yes. So now the real work began. I scouted out a location, got the supplies, pinned tons of inspo pics, and of course figured out what I was going to wear. I remember having a moment, day of the shoot where I thought "hummm this would be a great day for Jesse to propose, I've pretty much planned out the perfect setup." I quickly dismissed that thought, because he had been so calm all day and we were 30 minutes away from leaving and Jesse still had no idea what he was going to wear. So it obviously was not happening today. We get to the location, I'm in my element, and loving every minute. About 30 minutes into the shoot Jesse suggests we try a new pose. I am fully onboard and ready to go. He then starts to get down on one knee and all I can think is "Wait, what?? Is this a new pose we are trying, or is he proposing???" It wasn't until I saw the box come out of his pocket that I knew he was for real! I was completely shocked and truly had no idea it was coming. It was so special because no one else was around except for our photographer and my best friend. We got to spend the next hour or so taking ENGAGEMENT pictures and just staying in our little world where no one knew it had happened yet. Jesse did an amazing job planning the proposal, and I am so thankful we have the pictures to look back on. They really do capture all the joy and love felt on that day.
