We're getting married!

What I thought was just a random weekend getaway, ended up changing my life forever. We started out in Portland, on Friday, and spent all day there. Saturday, we decided to go to Seaside for the day. Britt told me to get all done up because she wanted us to take pictures on the beach. Once we got there, we had lunch at our favorite pizza place. Britt then suggested we take a walk down to the beach and take some pictures. My sister Nena, was with us and said she'd stay back and that we should go on. I thought it was a little weird because who was gonna take our pictures? LOL. The next thing i knew Britt was down on one knee. I was so caught by surprise that it took my breath away. She asked me to spend the rest of our lives together and of course I SAID YESSS! Then, what happened next truly filled my heart with so much joy and honestly just made me fall even more in love with Britt. She spun me around and, to my astonishment, my Mom and Dad were standing there! They were there the whole time! I totally lost it when my mom came running up to me with tears in her eyes. It was the absolute best surprise I could've ever asked for. I knew right then saying yes to Britt was one of the best decisions of my life. I can't wait to say I do and call her my wife!

The day Lucy proposed to me was Christmas Day. We were sitting in the living room opening presents with the family. We talked, laughed, and really enjoyed all the moments. As we all started to clean up, Lucy mentioned there was a present left. She grabbed it, handed it to me and to my surprise it had my name on it! It said it was from my honey. I looked up at her with a "What the heck!?" expression. I unwrapped it and I opened the box to find... that there was another box. So I opened that one and there was another one! At this point, I seen phones out recording, so in my head I'm thinking it's a prank. I opened a total of 4 boxes and in the final one, there it was, a beautiful ring. I was in complete surprise. I looked at it and then I looked at Lucy and she started to get down on one knee in front of me and I completely lost it. Yup, bring on the ugly cry! She said I deserved my own proposal and proceeded to ask me to marry her. Of course I said YES! I can't wait till we say I do and spend the rest of our lives together.
