Where is the wedding? Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be at The Sanctuary on Penn. 701 N Pennsylvania St Indianapolis, IN 46204 Please enter through the front door on Pennsylvania Street that has 701 on it.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There are lots on Walnut Street across from the venue that will be free for our guests to park in. Walnut Street is one way. Enter from Delaware.
Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm. Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony so that everyone can get settled in. Please note that once the ceremony has begun the venue staff will not allow you in until it has finished.

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal, cocktail attire is requested. Please refrain from wearing jeans.

Is it indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be indoors, but there are outdoor areas that will be open during the reception, weather permitting.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
Answer
The bride and groom will be asking for an unplugged ceremony, where guests’ phones are turned off and put away. Our photographer is extremely talented and this will allow for her to get the best possible shots. We promise to share pictures as soon as possible!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail it back or do it online?
Answer
The deadline to RSVP is August 18. We ask that you RSVP right here on our website.

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "will not attend," so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be food and alcohol?
Answer
Yes! We will be providing a cocktail hour with an open bar, dinner, and cake. Once we’ve made our menu choices, this section will be updated with specifics.

We will be providing wine, beer, and select liquor options. You may choose to purchase anything that isn’t part of our package.

This will be an adult only event. Please use this as an opportunity for a date night!

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Fall in Indiana is hit or miss. It can range from the 50s to the upper 70s. We recommend checking the weather forecast close to the date to be sure.

Do I need to bring cash?
Answer
It is an open bar, but the bartenders would appreciate extra tips if you would like to bring cash.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
We do not. However, the wedding is in downtown Indianapolis, and there are many great options nearby for hotels and Airbnbs.

Do you have a wedding registry? Where should we send our gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are registered at Amazon and Target. You can also check our wedding registry page on this website for ideas. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

When does the reception end?

The reception ends at 9 pm. There are bars nearby on Mass Ave if you want to continue the party.
