Salem is a 30-45 minute drive north of Boston!
A convenient way to get to Salem from Boston Logan Airport is taxi, Lyft or Uber. Taxis sit right outside the airport exit, and they have designated areas for Lyft/Uber. Estimated cost is $40-$50. Once you get here, downtown Salem is very walkable!
If you rent a car, parking around Salem is easy! There's parking lots, garages and street parking that can be paid for with the Passport Parking app.
If you decide to stay in Boston, you can get to Salem from North Station via a 30 minute ride on the MBTA Commuter Rail Newburyport/Rockport line. A one way ticket is $8, which can be purchased at the station or on the mTicket app. The destination station is Salem (Zone 3).
