What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you are comfortable with! We recommend cocktail or black-tie optional attire.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, which does not have air conditioning! The reception will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Is there any etiquette I need to know about the ceremony?

Answer

During a Catholic wedding mass, the priest will invite practicing Catholics to come up and receive the Eucharist. All other guests are welcome to join the queue as well, cross their arms over their chest and receive a blessing from the priest, or may opt to remain seated during this time.
